A four-day training workshop was successfully convened at RSS between 8-11 August 2022 by the Office of Radiological Security (ORS) to help provide the cadres of Public Security Directorate (PSD) with the training needed to adequately develop the training materials of the International Response Training (IRT) based on a Jordanian perspective and become certified trainers. Knowing that the IRT workshop took place early in March 2022.
The goal of the IRT is to raise security awareness among law enforcement and site officials by providing the training needed to adequately plan for an integrated response to a critical security incident involving a radiological source.
